We’re proud to launch the second phase of the Richmond Ad Club Mentorship Program, an initiative aimed to help nurture the advertising careers of students and young professionals in the Richmond area. Last year, we had 38 participants that included mentors from The Martin Agency, Big River, Feedback Agency, The King Agency and more as well as mentees from VCU, The Brandcenter and even Capital One. We’re eager to begin our second round of the program and we’re currently accepting applications for mentors and will begin accepting applications for mentees in September. Stay tuned for more information to come, in the meantime you can visit our mentorship page or email email@example.com for more information.
At Richmond Ad Club, our goal is: “To unite our ad community through service endeavors, education and the celebration of creativity.”

RICHMOND, Va. (June 6, 2012) — Elevation has officially gone to the dogs.
The Richmond-based advertising agency won its first national creative award last night — a silver — for a Virginia Green spot featuring a Jack Russell Terrier named Buster in the Locally Broadcast TV category of the national ADDY‘s held in Austin, Texas last night. The Richmond agency reached the national show after competing in both local and regional ADDY competitions.
Elevation’s Aaron Dotson said the spot is proof that “strong, simple ideas” are the basis for award-winning and effective work.
“It’s great to see Richmond firms get this kind of attention for their creative work. It so important for local firms to think big and compete on a national stage,” added Kelly O’Keefe, a professor at the Brand Center.
