RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (March 21, 2006)É Top Dead Center Design, a Richmond-based web design and development firm, was recently awarded first place in the commercial division of the pMachine Shootout competition. The award was for the original design and development of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Richmond ChapterÕs website.
pMachine is an international company that offers a feature-rich web publishing system called ExpressionEngine. The competition asked designers who develop sites using Expression Engine to submit their best work. The contest was judged by nine of the webÕs most respected experts on website design and development. Hertzler, owner and creative lead of Top Dead Center Design, submitted the winning entry along, as well as winning 8th and 10th place in the commercial division for two additional sites.
